Here's a STORAGE TIP: some storage facilities try to fool customers into thinking you can control "humidity" and the "climate" with standard, roll-up doors. You can not! In order to do so, your storage unit must be inside of a building.
Here's another TIP: try not to get your belongings wet before putting them into storage, whether it's in standard or climate-controlled storage. If they do, try to wipe off your belongings as best as possible.
